The R&D Department of APLICACIONES SOLARES APOLO has designed a machine that will give you 40% more output than a fixed system. The APOLO 125 solar tracker achieves this with an azimuthal angle of 252°and an angle of elevation of 60°. The operation of the vertical axis is realized by a slewing drive with motor and reduction gear, while the function of the horizontal axis is carried out by a screw jack. Its innovative control system, based on astronomical positioning using trigonometric formulas, enables it to achieve a high precision from the position of the sun.

Its sophisticated calculation loop, also used in aerospace applications, operates continuously, in contrast to other systems that are limited to using tables for the same purpose. This optimizes not only orientation but also electricity consumption.
