Flat collectors are a convincing acquisition as a result of their low cost of purchase and the energy saving they achieve. These panels are the first collectors to come onto the market and they are still sold today on account of their simple economic technology.

The absorber is made up of copper tubes surrounded by aluminium capture surfaces, with black selective coating in order to optimize absorption of solar radiation.
 
The collectors can be installed either horizontally or vertically so that they can be integrated on an architectural level.
